SEOUL TRAVEL ADVICE

Planning your Seoul airport pickup

Published

A private transfer starts with a clear travel plan. Before you send your enquiry, gather the details below so the reservations team can arrange the journey accurately.

Check your airport and arrival date

Use the airport printed on your itinerary: Incheon (ICN) or Gimpo (GMP). Enter the arrival date and time in South Korea, which may be different from the date you leave home. Include your flight number and terminal if known.

Give a complete destination

Send the full hotel name and address, rather than a neighbourhood alone. For an apartment, add the building name and entrance instructions. If several properties have similar names, the address helps avoid confusion.

Count people and luggage together

Include every passenger and the number of suitcases. Mention pushchairs, sports equipment, and oversized bags. Child-seat and accessibility requests need to be discussed before confirmation.

Keep the pickup instructions handy

Your enquiry becomes a booking when you receive confirmation. Keep the meeting instructions available on your phone and contact the team if your flight changes.

Start with our Incheon transfer guide or Gimpo transfer guide, then send your journey details.

Build your arrival plan around the whole journey

Your flight’s arrival time is a starting point for planning, rather than a promise that you will be ready to leave the airport at that moment. Consider the time needed to leave the aircraft, complete arrival formalities, and collect your bags. Give the team your flight details so the pickup arrangement can be discussed with that context.

If you have an appointment after landing, mention it in the enquiry. A meeting, restaurant reservation, or onward journey should be considered alongside your arrival process and road conditions. Avoid building a schedule that depends on every stage going perfectly.

Make the destination easy to identify

A useful destination includes the property name, street address, and any building or entrance information you already have. Copying the address from your accommodation confirmation can help distinguish similarly named hotels. If your host has supplied a Korean address, include it in your notes as well.

For several stops, list them in the order you want to visit. An extra hotel drop-off or luggage stop changes the itinerary and should be agreed before your journey. If the address changes after booking, send the revised details to the team rather than relying on instructions given only at pickup.

Prepare for travelling with children or extra equipment

Include all passengers in your group count, including children. Give children’s ages and any child-seat requirements. A larger vehicle does not automatically mean the right child seat or accessible facilities are included; these requests need individual confirmation.

For a wheelchair, pushchair, or sports equipment, share dimensions and whether it folds. Describe any assistance you need separately from the equipment itself. This helps the team check both the luggage space and the suitability of the arrangement.

Before departure: a short checklist

Airport pickup FAQs

Should I enter my departure time or arrival time?

For an airport arrival, provide the flight arrival date and time in South Korea and include the flight number. The team will confirm the pickup arrangement. For a hotel-to-airport journey, include your departure flight and discuss the collection time.

Can I book before I know my terminal?

Send the flight number and other details you know. The team can review the enquiry, and you should confirm the terminal information from your itinerary before travelling.

What should I do if my flight changes?

Send the revised flight details to the reservations team as soon as possible. Do not assume a changed flight automatically changes your confirmed pickup.

Does submitting the form reserve my vehicle?

The form starts an enquiry. Your transfer is booked when you receive confirmation from the reservations team.
